Overview
To master the art of business-or the art of war-you must become master of many arts. The art of decision-making. The art of motivation. Of planning. Of team-building. Most of all, the art of leadership. Written by retired U.S. Air Force General and corporate executive William A. Cohen, Wisdom of the Generals draws on the leadership genius of more than 150 great warriors-from ancient Chinese warload Sun Tzu to Desert Storm hero General Colin Powell. Then it distills their brilliance into practical, inspirational lessons on the pursuit of excellence in sixty-four criteria essential to business success. Business leaders-and those who aspire to lead-will find savvy, inspirational treatises on planning and problem solving, teamwork and training, competence and commitment, adversity, motivation, integrity, morale building, and every one of the leadership arts that create victory in the arenas of business, of war, and of life.
