About the Author

With a BA in Creative Writing from Goddard College, Christie Maurer lives in the Monterey Bay area with her husband and two cats. She is a member of Broad Universe for women Science Fiction, Fantasy, and Horror writers, and serves as the newsletter editor for Monterey Bay Chapter of Romance Writers of America. Her short stories include alternative fairytales, "Gormlo the Green," "A Maiden's Heart," and a ghost story, "Heritage." Her novel, The Dark Lady's Stone, was independently published.
