His novels are famous for their humor (and bad puns), exploration of comparative political systems, and philosophical undertones.

Editorial Reviews

An interesting perspective on human nature and how it affects religion, specifically when the seed of doubt is planted in a remote population. The exploration of the origins of the schism between the Church of Rome and the aspiring Church of Gramarye was uniquely thought-provoking (and meshed well with the theme of the rest of the series). Overall, an interesting read, and a decent installation of the Warlock saga.
