Overview

This book is about the Wards that originated from Abraham Ward and Jane Johnson. From their beginnings in New York to their settlement in different counties in Ohio; some of the Ward family's lives have been documented through oral history, census records and other data. It also includes allied families like the Grays, Hupps, Johnson's and Felters; all families into which the Wards married. Most started out as farmers; left the farms for factory work in the 1940's, and lived out their lives in either Ohio, Michigan, West VA, or Oklahoma. They were patriots; serving our country in wars, and hardworking, religious people.
