About the Author

The Safari Plot is written by Anita Porter. The Virtual Field Trip I was written by her sister Alicia Porter. Both ladies are sisters, originally from Brooklyn New York. They now live in Sunny Florida. Both were teachers and understand the educational and reading needs of students. While writing, they kept in mind what young ones look for in reading materials and have brought that understanding in their series, “The Virtual Field Trip.”
They began writing during the pandemic because many students complained of boredom and had exhausted various options of enjoying themselves while learning.

The ladies enjoy quality time with family and friends. They love learning, meeting new people and adventuring. They believe online education is not so bad because there are innovative educational tools that make asynchronous learning enjoyable. They also enjoy talking and meeting students from all over as well as advising and consulting with other educators and parents.
They are currently writing an addition to the series ‘The Virtual Field Trip III.

The remainder of the series will be written by both ladies.
