Overview

The Village on the Edge of the Sea is a collection of short stories with a small, seaside village being the common location. There are several main characters who appear throughout the series, and the good guys are the heroes. The Village is a beautiful place, but the age old conflict of good and evil is part of the fabric of the stories. Love, hatred, romance, suspense, and mystery are found from the first page to the last. This is a great choice for young and old alike.

About the Author

Lou Barba was born in 1948, and grew up in a time when only the rich had carpet on their floors or TVs in their homes. At an early age, his IQ was assessed in the high genius range. As he came of age, his involvement with drugs and alcohol forced his life into a much different course that what would be expected from someone with such capabilities. A reawakened faith in Jesus after several stints in prison gave his life a direction and focus it had never had.

Lou is now reaching retirement age, and is beginning to write idealized short stories and anecdotes on his blog, called THE INFORMATION HIGHWAY CARD AND GIFT SHOP. Writing and publishing books is a goal for the rest of his life.
