About the Author

Bonnie Koenig, LAc wrote her first “book” at the age of 8. She graduated with a degree in English and then began working at a variety of jobs and writing. In the late 1990s she attended Oregon College of Oriental Medicine and has worked as an acupuncturist since 1999. Recently, she started writing again. She is currently writing about acupuncture and health philosophy. Additionally she was an editor for Chinese Medicine Quarterly.

Jason Stein, MOM, LAc earned his BS in psychology at Arizona State University in 1993 and his master’s degree in Oriental medicine from the International Institute of Chinese Medicine in Albuquerque, NM in 1998. He established the first integrative medicine program in a Western hospital setting in New Mexico. He is a professional certified coach and teaches Mindfulness and Stress Resilience classes with Providence Health Systems.
