This book is about the tragedy of two friend's ijeoma and Gloria who were reliable friends from their childhood until they met with a prince (James) who chose and married Gloria instead of ijeoma who wants that the prince would wed her and then she grew a passion in the prince and used various styles of seductive methods on the prince for him to marry her but all to no avail. Years later the children of Ijeoma and Gloria, olaoma and Emeka married together after enough resistance from ijeoma for her only son not to marry olaoma the daughter of her adversary. Ijeoma Emeka mother out of her wickedness and unforgiving heart hindered them from bearing children for 13 years of their marriage but, God finally intervened and blessed them with a set twins baby daughters Mercy and miracle. But with time, miracle one twin became excessively haughty and stubborn. She later married money rituals who neglect all her parent's opposition towards the marriage. Sadly enough, Miracle was being used by her spouse for money ritual but her identical twin sister Mercy was loyal to her parents that her parent blessed her and then, she gained favored and she became blessed with every excellent things and a prosperous and God-fearing spouse who helps to improve the poor household of Franklin and edithta; Edithta was the daughter Juliet one of olaoma's friend who insulted her of being barren so many years ago and again, with a set of triplets, a daughter Mirabel and two sons Jude and jerry.
