Overview

Erich is an undertaker with an uncanny ability that he wants to keep under wraps: he can talk to ghosts. Adaline is his best friend and confidante; she has also been dead for longer than Erich has been alive. Together they live in the small town of Tynbury helping souls cross peacefully into the beyond.

Then Erich falls in love with Jenny, a schoolteacher plagued by increasingly sinister happenings, and life as he knows it is turned upside down...

About the Author

Lindsay Klein is a person who wrote a book after talking for a long time about writing a book. Writing the book took even longer than the talking about it. Amidst existential panics, a national drought and a goddamn global pandemic she alternately pirouetted and plodded through the process and, mad as it seems, may even consider writing another one. She lives in a gingerbread house in a quiet suburb of Cape Town with her husband, Peter, and their two cats, Eddie and Mathilda.
