Overview

Do you believe that Jesus is God in human form, that He lived a sinless life on earth, was killed on a cross, rose from death, and lives today, bringing salvation and the hope of eternal life to the world?
You truly believe all this? Prove it.

After 44 years as a missionary in Thailand, Ken Rideout returned to the U.S. and found that even pastors respond to these questions with stunned, blank expressions.

Most Christians are not equipped to address these questions. But if we cannot prove Truth for ourselves, how can we prove Truth to others? What we have not realized is that Truth verifies itself. How? The answer is simple, respectful, powerful, and based on the Truth we all know we know.

About the Author

As a missionary in Asia for 44 years, Ken Rideout planted churches throughout Thailand, taught in Taiwan, Hong Kong, and China, and helped establish the Bible training program at Youth For Christ in Hong Kong. He and his first wife, Ruth, raised four children in Thailand, before she passed away in 1994. In 1995 Ken married a fellow missionary, Sandra Womack, who enthusiastically served by his side in Singapore and among the Lahu and Karin tribes of Northern Thailand.

Ken’s first years in Thailand (starting in 1958) were very challenging as he tried to find an effective way to teach Christ to the Asian cultures. Over a period of 10 years, he developed a reliable teaching model, which he utilized and perfected for an additional 34 years in the field. In 2005 Ken published his model in his groundbreaking book, The Truth You Know You Know, Jesus Verified in Our Global Culture.

Ken holds B.S. degrees in Bible from both Florida Christian College and Abilene Christian College and a Master’s Degree in Theology and Missions from Harding Graduate School of Bible and Religion. He worked on his doctorate in missions at The School of World Missions of Fuller Theological Seminary.

The Rideouts now live in Nashville, TN, where they attend Belmont Church. In their home they host a seemingly endless stream of children, grandchildren and friends from all over the world. In addition to counseling and teaching home Bible studies, Ken and Sandra still find time to visit their church families in Thailand and Singapore.
