Overview

Moments after John and Suzette Appleton learn of their child's death, Suzette, a Prosecuting Attorney, has an encounter with God himself. Suzette blamed God for the deaths of her children after he revealed himself to her. Being both angry and prideful she developed a deep hatred for God and wanted him gone. She filed charges to put God on trial to force him to reveal to the world the reason for his absence. One key stipulation is if God is found guilty for any of his charges, then he will be booted from Earth and all of his power. About the Author

Emanuel was born, raised, and educated in Detroit, Michigan, he is the only son and the middle child of three children to Corliss Johnson and Emanuel Upshaw Jr. Growing up in Detroit he graduated from Pershing High School and went to Eastern Michigan University where he attained both his Bachelors and Masters Degrees. After completing his education he began to seek his life's passion and follow his dream since he was five years old, which is to host his own daytime talk show. While building his brand and trying to build a large digital footprint, he decided to pack everything he owned to move to Los Angeles, California to continue his pursuit of hosting and acting. Working as a background actor and consultant on small independent media projects he recently completed his first 70-page pilot script for a primetime drama called "The Trial" that was in development/pitching stage of production. However, because of the writers and actor's strike in Los Angeles 2023, he decided to take the script he had been working on for a year, and turn it into a book, in hopes that it would become a New York Times Best Seller. When he thinks about his future he smiles from ear-to-ear, imagining his abilities to create the impossible through the pen. He's excited for this new journey and when asked to describe who he is he says, "I am Unique and Ready!"
