About the Author

Leslie Rogers is a Children's and Youth book Author, Entrepreneur and Humanitarian. She is Co-Founder of "Connections of Hope" and a member of the Tooele Valley Rotary Club as well as the Youth Interact Rotary Club. She is a strong woman of faith, a wife and the mother of four children, ages 13-18.

Leslie Rogers' passion is with the youth. As one who suffered from debilitating depression and low self-esteem in her youth, she understands the self-defeating thoughts and feelings that bombard our youth from all sides. Through her own journey of healing and finding her place in the world, she has gained knowledge and insight which she desires to share through public speaking and the mentoring of our youth in their journey of discovering who they are and where they are going.

Her accomplishments include the children's books, "Created to Soar," illustrated by Dianne Matravers and "It Is Me," illustrated by Doris L. Wilhelm, both of which can be found at Barnes and Noble and Amazon. With many more books in the works for youth as well as children, Leslie Rogers writes with passion and imagination which inspires the reader to do their very best while becoming who they were created to become.

Leslie Rogers also values a community of unity and the importance of supporting core values and reaching out to those in need. She is a strong supporter of the Tooele County Relief Services and donates her time and resources to promoting their cause. In her little corner of the world, she believes that she can and will make a difference even if it is just in the life of one person.
