About the Author

In 2004 Erin Agar began researching the college application process. Having been an admissions interviewer for her own college since the 1980's, she wanted to learn more. It started with reading and within months evolved. She enrolled in the UCLA college counseling program. Having completed the coursework, she followed the suggestions of one of her professors, and began helping disadvantaged students through the application process, supplemented by work with elite students. This system of getting a student to identify his strengths and to produce a great application is the result of years of working with students of all skill levels.
