The Tears that Fall
How do you help a man raise his nieces that thinks it's your fault that his brother is dead? Maya a young teen in the hard street of New Orleans meets two corner boys Marcus and Anthony in these hard streets of Nola trying to survive.

Excerpt:

"This is your fault. If you would have stayed away from us, my brother would still be here." He gets up off the couch and starts walking in my direction.
"Anthony, I'm sorry. I didn't mean for that to happen." I try to plead with him.
"No, it is your fault. You can't take anyone else away from me." He grabs both my wrist dragging me to the door. He unlocks the front door. Pushing me out of the apartment.
"If ever see you around my family again. I'm gonna kill you." He shuts the door in my face. I walk slowly out of the apartment building. Where to go. I have no home and now don't have my bag. I walk the streets. I walk to my old apartment. I need to grab some clothes and the money I have stashed then find someplace to stay. I get to the building seeing Mrs. Key outside.
