About the Author

Laurie Grant lives with her husband, ten cats, and chickens in Michigan farm country. Giving sanctuary to abandoned cats and kittens has been part of their lives as long as they can remember. They have two grown children and four grandchildren. When three of her grandchildren moved to Japan in 2014, she struggled to find a way to maintain a meaningful relationship with them a half a world away. She turned to writing stories about her beloved cats that were also loved by her grandchildren. Every Christmas, she wrote another story for them. Now that she’s retired from the world of landscaping, she wants to share those stories with others.
