About the Author

Cathie Norton is a retired registered nurse, having had a creative 45 years profession that began in the intensive care unit, cardiac rehab, and emergency room. She served as a liaison, tele-health coordinator, educator and case manager and eventually retiring from hospice. To this day, she still volunteers in a local hospital.

Cathie enjoys singing in her church choir, working with stained glass beads, and cooking.

She is happily married to her best friend of 47 years, Newell, who has been her greatest advocate and encouraged her to embark on a writing career. They have two terrific sons, Bryan and Brett, and six amazing grandchildren. Cathie is a native Californian.
