About the Author

A native Southerner, Shelly King packed her bags and skipped over the big square states to move to Silicon Valley during the height of the Internet bubble. She fell in love with the Bay Area and works in high tech, designing systems to make software easier to use. She is currently working on a novel about people finding love in Silicon Valley as well as more stories from her Southern roots. Her stories has been published in The Writer magazine, the GW Review, Slow Trains, Epiphany, and the Dos Passos Review.
