About the Author

M. James Sawyer (Ph.D., Dallas Theological Seminary) has taught theology for over twenty-five years at the seminary level. He is currently Director of Sacred Saga ministries in the San Francisco Bay area. He also serves as Professor of Theological Studies at Pacific Islands Evangelical Seminary in Guam. He also teaches regularly at seminaries, and colleges overseas equipping Christian leaders for ministry. He is the author of Taxonomic Charts of Theology and Biblical Studies, Charles Augustus Briggs and Tensions in Late Nineteenth Century American Theology, co-author of Reinventing Jesus?, and co-editor of Who’s Afraid of the Holy Spirit?
