Molly’s brother James is marrying Chloe, an Australian girl, on a tropical beach. A laid back bride, Chloe has told Molly she can choose her own dress. Molly’s choice of dress is not ideal for a hot climate, however she makes such fuss, her Mum lets her have it. However when she gets to Australia – shock, horror, her luggage has been mislaid so she and Chloe have to buy her a new outfit – a sarong and skimpy top, perfect for a hot beach wedding. James is football mad and after the wedding he celebrates by a game of footie on the beach. About the Author

Diane Redmond is a prolific author, television scriptwriter and playwright. Among her first children’s books were Fireman Sam titles for Heinemann.She has written several plays for the Polka Theatre Company; the young football series Come on You Reds! for Transworld, Young Corgi; Animal Sanctuary for MacDonald; Stage School for Hodder. Her latest commission from Random House is to write four picture book texts for the new animated film of Watership Down. She lives in Cambridge with her family and two dogs.


Diane was born and educated in Lancashire. Her interest in children's books began when she used them to teach English in language schools in Italy.
She returned to live in Cambridge, where she taught multi-cultural education before working as a radio and TV presenter.
Diane has also been involved in script writing for TV and the stage. She was asked to write The Journey of Odysseus for a Children's Theatre, which gave her the inspiration to delve deeper into the world of the Ancient Greeks.
