About the Author

Born and raised in the Lone Star State, Kimberley Martin is a true, "Yellow Rose of Texas." Her mother sowed and cultivated the seeds that blossomed into Kimberley's love for romantic fiction. Her mom's vast romance novel collection never gathered much dust on the shelves with "Kimmy" around! Upon graduating with honors from St. Mary's University with a BA degree in Interdisciplinary Reading, she embarked upon a rewarding twenty-one year career as a professional educator. While working at Lackland ISD, she taught advanced level reading and writing, served a stint as the district newsletter editor, designed and enhanced curriculum, coached district writing and creative performance teams, and edited the morning newscast scripts as sponsor for the elementary school technology club. She retired from teaching in June 2014 after accruing many accolades and accomplishments awarded to her during the span of her career. Shortly after retirement, she continued her passion for writing by embarking upon a career as a romance novel author. Kimberley currently resides in San Antonio in her childhood home designed by her parents. She is the proud mother of four amazing grown children and two beautiful daughters-in-law.
