The Studio Musician is a crime novel with a comical twist. Based in Huntington Beach, California and narrated by lead detective Scott Becker, the story follows his sarcastic view as he and his partner, Russ Paulson investigate two vicious murders. Two young women have been strangled to death---one left under the main pier and the other at the base of a tree outside of her apartment. After narrowing their search down to a single possibility, they eventually arrest the suspect for both crimes, but something is wrong; they may have the wrong person. From ice cream cones to loud-mouthed landlords, the fact-paced story introduces several entertaining characters along with a surprise ending that will leave the reader speechless.
