About the Author

Emanuel Mann Josephson was born on September 23, 1895 in Baltimore, Maryland and educated at Johns Hopkins University and Columbia University, earning his B.S. in 1916 and M.D. in 1917. He was Assistant to the Medical Director of the American Red Cross in Europe from 1921-1922. Thereafter he was engaged in medical research, the practice of medicine, and wrote on medicine, politics and economics. His publications include The Gold Standard Myth, Your Life is Their Toy, Rackets—Social Service & Medical, Merchants in Medicine and Is the Taft Hartley Bill Good for America.
