My grandma was the talk of our small town on her cleanliness. Growing up as a young girl, I would hear people say Betty's house is so clean you could eat off of her floors. Cleaning the house seemed to be my grandmother's favorite hobby. She never took a day off and I would watch her in action daily while I played. She would be in the zone, most times I do not think she noticed me watching her. I would think to myself, why is she always cleaning, I didn't understand why it had to be everyday. Now fast forward over 40 years later, memories of my grandmother flood my brain and I can't help but chuckle. There are so many good and funny memories of her that I carry with me and I had to get it on paper.
