About the Author

“MY STORIES ARE TOLD WITHOUT WORDS SO YOU CAN LISTEN WITH YOUR EYES”

Born in Uruguay, her mother’s art studio was her playground, starting art school at age five. In 1981,
she moved to New York, where she continued to pursue her interests in art: metal smith,
design and sculpture. Years later, moved to South Florida, where she has called Miami Beach her home since 1987.
With a passion for art, she has achieved a successful career in both design and visual arts
winning 23 national and international design awards.
Yet, painting is her preferred method of communication; the vehicle that liberates her expression.
To this day,  the art studio is still her playground.
