Do you ever wonder why you see some people shouting or dancing in church, or why you may see someone crying and smiling at the same time, but there is nothing wrong? We all praise and thank God in different ways. It all goes back to our good and bad experiences and how we perceive them. Let Sherrie Gatlin take you into her life experiences. She takes you into her unexpected childhood, where she experiences some traumas, but like so often, it gets buried until it all comes flooding back all at once. She fights and struggles to deal with the past trauma and find a sense of identity as she goes through her adolescent and teen years. Unfortunately, at some point in her late teens to early adulthood, everything comes crashing down, causing her to question God's love for her and everyone else in her life. She has to go through some broken relationships, trials and tribulations to really let go and let God have it all. After going through it all, she understands that God is with us through every situation and that He works them all for our good. She has learned that who we are is not shaped by our victories or storms, but by both. Watch as she grows and has encounters with God that cause her to stop hating life and learn to be grateful for each day God gives.
