As a true Midwesterner, Ayn E. Harris was born in Green Bay, Wisconsin, and raised in Eagle River, Wisconsin. As a young adult, she moved to Minneapolis, Minnesota, to get her degree in Child Psychology and Early Childhood Education from the University of Minnesota, where she still lives and teaches today.
