One act comedy about the State of Jefferson, the 1941 failed rebellion to make a new state, Jefferson, out of certain counties in Northern California and Southern Oregon. Stanton Delaplane, a young newspaper reporter for the San Francisco Chronicle at that time, won a Pulitzer Prize for his writing on this rebellion.
