Long before Richard Scarry or Dr. Seuss, an American artist delighted a generation of children and their parents with hilarious, topsy-turvyillustrations and slightly subversive tales told in rhyme. This was illustrator/author Peter Newell. Working over eighty years ago, Newell remains as profoundly enjoyable-and incredibly popular-as ever. Tuttle is proud to be reissuing his three classic works, sure to delight the young and old alike.
