Simini Blocker has worked on several middle-grade and YA titles, including Almost Midnight, and the My So-Called Superpowers series. When not illustrating, she loves experimenting with embroidery, traveling as much as possible, and collecting too many stationary supplies.

The Singing Rock and Other Brand-New Fairy Tales is inspired by Nathaniel’s lifelong love of fairy tales. Nathaniel grew up in Pelham, NY, and now lives in Marietta, GA, with his wife and his two wonderful children. His hobbies include collecting original illustration art and classic movie autographs.
