Pastor Henderson is the founder and Senior Pastor of one of the fastest growing churches in America, The Lighthouse Church of Houston. His ministry spans the globe, having ministered around the world to audiences across the US and abroad in London and Africa (specifically Ghana, Nigeria, and South Africa where his church has a ministry presence). He was called to ministry in 1995 at the age of 14, just prior to his freshman year of high school. Henderson (senior pastor, the Lighthouse Church, Houston) has translated his inspirational, energetic and down-to-earth preaching style to the page in this work on the "shifts" or transitory times in life when we may feel lost. Henderson openly shares "shifts" in his own life, from difficult life decisions while growing up in Gary, IN, a sudden end to a sports career, divorce, and the challenges of starting his successful church. Henderson challenges readers to use such "shift" moments from their own lives to reconnect them with their faith and God's plan for their own lives. The swift pace, conversational tone, and personal anecdotes make this an enjoyable read for those seeking inspiration through the lens of biblical scripture and positive thinking.
