It is an evangelistic allegory. The story is wrapped around a businessman Purson N. Nead who is looking for hope and the meaning of life, and six people known as the Reapers who spend their life searching for people in need of Mercy, Grace, Hope, Faith, Joy and Peace. Purson N. Nead has a disturbing dream that causes him to cry out for help. This initiates an unexpected visitation from four, and then eventually six strange individuals who share with Purson that they have come because his heart has a serious need. Purson N. Nead is first frightened, but then intrigued as the visitors reveal secrets behind a mystery that has been hidden for ages and generations but is now being made known to everyone who will dare to seek for truth. As Purson spends time with the visitors, and learns how to resist and overcome the enemy of his soul, he not only finds hope and the answer to his life's question, but also a much better way to live in a place he never knew existed.
