Overview

Renowned the world over for its outstanding natural beauty, rich cultural heritage, and relaxed way of life, the ‘Emerald Isle’ is one of the greatest places on earth to visit, and this book captures it at its very best. Traveling across the four provinces of Ulster, Connacht, Leinster, and Munster, The Secrets of Ireland will show you a range of the country’s most famous landmarks alongside many of its hidden treasures.

Ireland is a nation of contrasts, a place where vibrant, cosmopolitan cities sit beside quaint little fishing villages, and where the rugged coastline of the north gives way to the golden sandy beaches of the south. But it is the warmth of the people that truly gives this place its unique charm. Guiding you across the whole of the land, you can explore many of the island’s magnificent natural wonders, such as the Giant’s Causeway and the mountains and lakes of the Killarney National Park. You will also discover the Celtic ruins, medieval forts, and stately homes that lend a certain majestic feel, and see the modern sights of Dublin and Belfast. Through a series of beautiful photographs and informative text the whole of this ancient country is brought to life before your eyes.

Discover the visual delights of this fascinating island. Including everything from remote rural vistas to modern city streets, The Secrets of Ireland is a stunning pictorial guide to this captivating country.
