The Secret of Joy

Overview

The fairytale is written for children above the age 4+.
There are two characters in the story,a white and smooth grit and a big and tall cliff.
They meet in a beach and will reveal the secrets of life and joy.
- "So, the secret of joy is to remember who you are?" Asked the grit excited.
- "Who you are and what you have! When your attention and your thoughts are focused on all those things that you have and you are, then life is revealed to you and shows you how different and great your place is in the world…
…Now I realise that the world here is different, but at the same time,it is identical with the bottom of the sea. I know that you can have friends everywhere, as long as you remember who you are and what you have!
So, life is wonderful everywhere, here and there."
From that sunny day, the grit and the cliff became close friends.

About the Author

Vitanopoulou Eleftheria was born in Neos Skopos, a village near the city of Serres. She has traveled and lived in various cities in Greece and abroad. She has a degree from IIEK Pasteur in Medical and Biological Laboratories, Biochemistry and Microbiology Laboratory. Since 2009 she is trained and she teaches the Reiki method. Eleftheria started writing fairytales since she was a child. Now she has finished three more fairytales which will be presented in the following months. She has also written a novel. Her love for painting and writing had led her in creating the images in the books of her fairytales, in decorating and painting children's rooms, and also being a radio producer and a writer in magazines. Occasionally she has worked in advertising, by writing various texts and by giving her voice for advertisements. Eleftheria strongly believes that we can love more anything that we know the best and that life is a miracle! Her goal in life is to spread around the concepts of sharing, of solidarity, of kindness and of joy, to children of all ages, as much as her talent in art can reach. Now she lives and works permanently at the place of her origin, Neos Skopos.
