About the Author

Barry Jones is a retired scientist and was the winner of a number of awards, including being named Industrial Scientist of the Year for 1998 by the Tennessee Academy of Science. Following retirement, he became a part time professional soccer coach at the adult and youth level. He held a United States Soccer Federation �A� license. He was a 2003 inductee into the Tennessee State Soccer Hall of Fame.
He currently is a storyteller and writer and belongs to the Explorastory group in Hendersonville, Tennessee. He has regaled audiences with stories at numerous public venues such as the Tennessee State Museum, Historic Rock Castle in Hendersonville, Middle Tennessee area libraries and at Hope Lodge, the Nashville hostel for cancer patients and their families.
'The Search for a Kindronium 379' is his third book. He previously published 'Words Upon a Tombstone', a collection of his short stories and 'Rusted Rails'. Both are available as a eBooks and hard copy print books
Barry is a native of North Wales who emigrated to the United States in the 1960�s. He is married with two grown boys and lives with his wife in Hendersonville, Tennessee. They both are avid travelers and thoroughly enjoy photography especially taking pictures of wildlife. They are members of the Overseas Adventure Travel group. Barry is also a member of the American Chemical Society and the Gwyrch Castle Preservation Trust.
