Overview

Tom worked as a scientist for the U.S. Air Force. In 1989 they sent him on a scientific tour of mainland China to present a talk on his scientific research, meet their scientists, and see their laboratory facilities. Somehow Tom gets involved with the CIA and carries out an undercover operation for them while he is there. The mission involved deadly Chemical Nerve Agents that the Chinese were producing.
While there, Tom befriends his scientific talk translator and, through her, is exposed to the Communist Chinese Worldview. It is so different from his Christian worldview. One day Tom comes face to face with the Chinese forced abortion issue and sees the communist forced way of life.
Tom with his Chinese translator during his trip visits the Forbidden Palace, the Great Wall, and many historic places of China. Tom even finds himself walking through the young Chinese demonstrators on Tienanmen Square!
A must read, a spy thriller and exciting novel.
