The Santa Claus Gang
The Santa Claus Gang has struck again.

Xmas Eve: the Prussian Death Squad Robot commandos (with Live Action Grappling Hooks!) disappear en masse. A panicked CEO places an early morning call for help. Ignoring Call Waiting, Marlowe and Nina answer, launching them yet again into the seedy, dumpster-filled underbelly of the City’s criminal underworld.

You’d think they’d have learned by now to pay attention to Call Waiting.

‘Tis the season to stop the nefarious holiday-themed criminal organization from giving away the Most Wanted Toy of the Year. Otherwise, the poor conglomerate that manufactures the Prussian Death Squad Robot Commandos (with Live Action Grappling Hooks!) will be crushed.

And if that isn’t incentive enough, failure means Marlowe and Nina will be executed.

The Santa Claus Gang is a short story set after the action of Marlowe and the Spacewoman, but before the nail-biting excitement of Balloons of the Apocalypse. And now, for a limited time, it’s available in English!

About the Author

Ian M. Dudley was born in California in 19--, in what will undoubtedly go down in the history books as a dark year indeed for literature. An outcast due to his penchant for modestly altering his personal history, he ran away at age 18 to New York City to find fame and glamor in the New York literary world. He didn't.

In 1993, Ian was forcibly committed to the New York Municipal Hospital for the Criminally Insane. It was there that he created the Marlowe and the Spacewoman series, of which The Santa Claus Gang is the second entry. Such is the nature of his insanity, he wrote this second story prior to the first book. Hospital orderlies regularly tried to re-establish Ian's sense of time's linearity, but the electroshock sessions were either too infrequent or involved too low a voltage.

Ian has written numerous unpublished works of fiction and non-fiction, the titles of which are too terrible to duplicate here, except for The Killer Party: How to Host A Murder Mystery. The promotional activities for that book are what led to his incarceration.

In 1996, Ian escaped from the New York Municipal Hospital for the Criminally Insane. He is believed to have migrated to the West Coast, where enforcement of the rules of grammar is less stringent. His exact location is unknown, and no current photos of him are available.

Ian has never won, nor will he ever will win, any literary awards for his efforts. He is, however, the prime suspect in the theft of five Hugos, three Nebulas, and, for some inexplicable reason, a Bram Stoker award. His command of the English language has been said to be deadly, though readers will have to decide for themselves if that is a compliment or an insult. If you see Ian, do not engage him in conversation (in English, at least), but contact local law enforcement.
