Overview

My book is a collection of short stories. They are varied and diverse in their style, but at their core they address the search for love and happiness, and life's injustices that we encounter by accident or out of malice. I have pitched each story in a different style, ranging from the romantic, to the thriller, the comical, and the allegorical, but the tales are taken from everyday's life, the ordinary scenes that pervade our lives, bringing to the forefront the human emotions and psychological struggles in our modern world, and in particular, the vulnerability, the innocence, and the goodness, against the bullying, the wicked intent, and the superfluous complexities in our lives. And through all these stories, as varied as they are, the author takes us on a journey through different European cities, with their landmarks and local customs, as the stories take place between England and cities in Russia, Denmark, Germany, France and Italy. For readers who have visited those places, they will feel familiar with the scenery and the geography. The impression one gets reading this collection of short stories is that of real life, real people, and happenings from real day-to-day living, that are plausible and familiar.
