The Sabbath, the Law, and Christian Ministry
The noise of the spectators fills your ears as the sprinters approach you. In the distance, one staggers far behind the rest. You can just make out what appears to be a large desk perched on his back. Nothing wrong with the desk of course but why in the world would a sprinter be carrying it? That makes me wonder about something else. As good as the law was, why would a Christian attempt to keep it as a rule for his life? Anyone who has struggled with trying to be acceptable to God by keeping the law would benefit from considering the excellent teaching in The Sabbath, the Law, and Christian Ministry.
