Overview

With a world of fascinating plants to draw on, this beautiful hardback journal allows its users to record their thoughts on the natural world.

Divided by season, this wonderfully illustrated nature journal is filled with stories of plants from every continent and ideas and exercises to inspire people to discover a sense of wellbeing by enjoying the delights of the outside, whether it be their own garden, a forest or arboretum, the local park or some other green space. By focusing on a pretty flower or listening to the rustle of leaves on the trees or walking through a field, readers can feel the organic link between humanity and the earth from which they sprang.

Illustrated with some of the best images from the extensive archives of botanical art held by the world-renowned Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew, users can also just sit and meditate on the plants included in the journal and let their imagination run free, forgetting their actual surroundings for a little while as they are transported into the heart of the outdoors.
