About the Author

Giovanni Gualdoni is an Italian writer and artist born in 1974. He is known for his creation of the comic book series Wondercity and as a rule-maker for table games and live role-playing games. In 2008, in addition to working as an editor, screenwriter, and comics writer, he published a book of fiction for children entitled Rumbler. In 2001 he founded the Studio Settemondi, a cooperative of authors which brings together emerging talents on Italian comic scene. Together with artist Matteo Piana, he created the saga of The Ring of the Seven Worlds published by Humanoids.
Gabriele Clima is an Italian writer and illustrator for children and teenagers who has published many books. He holds meetings and workshops for children and adults on reading, writing, and poetry, dealing with topics such as diversity, multiculturalism, and integration. He is a member of the Italian Association of Writers for Children and Adolescents and his books have been translated into several languages.
After studying at an arts grammar school, Matteo Piana attended the School of Applied Industrial Arts in Milan where he received his degree in 1997. He began his career drawing for Corriere della Serra and at the Pastori studios. He joined Bonelli in 1999, where he illustrated the series Napoleone. He teamed up with writers Giovanni Gualdoni and Gabriele Clima, with whom he launched the series Amradel in 2001. In 2003, they created The Ring of the Seven Worlds.
