K.S. Young is a 22-year-old college student from Atlanta, Georgia. However, she grew up in many places, both in North and South America. Writing has always been a passion of hers, even when she was a little girl. Young was drawn to the fantastical side of literature, and she even wrote a bit of fan fiction in her teenage years. The positive reaction she got from her practice stories there encouraged her to try her hand at some young adult fiction of her own.
