About the Author

GEORGE S. CLASON was born in 1874 in a small river town in Missouri. He went to college in Nebraska, served as a civil engineer during the Spanish-American War, and after the war, grew his business into one of the most profitable map companies in America. Seeing others struggle with money, he began writing parables full of commonsense advice about living on less and saving for hard times. In 1930, he published his favorite stories as The Richest Man in Babylon, and the impact of his book continues to live on and influence millions of readers each year.

DAVE RAMSEY is America’s trusted voice on money and business. He’s authored seven bestselling books: Financial Peace, More Than Enough, The Total Money Makeover, EntreLeadership, The Complete Guide to Money, Smart Money Smart Kids and The Legacy Journey. The Dave Ramsey Show is heard by more than 16 million listeners each week on more than 600 radio stations and digitally through podcasts, online audio streaming, and a 24-hour online streaming video channel. Nearly 6 million people have attended Financial Peace University(FPU) classes at their church, military base, local nonprofit organization, or community group.

What People are Saying About This

From the Publisher

"What can a book written in the 1920s tell modern investors about their finances? A whole lot if it's George Clason's delightful set of parables that explain the basics of money. This is a great gift for a graduate or anyone who seems baffled by the world of finance and a wonderful, refreshing read for even the most experienced investor." -Los Angeles Times
