This book is about an angry old plantation owner who was set in his own ways. He didnt want to accept his nephews black half brother as an equal, so he had him sold to the highest bidder. An African witch that lived in the woods asked him to reveal where the young lad was sold, but he refused. Therefore, the witch had no choice but to cast a spell on the grumpy slave master for four hundred years. After the awakening of the slave master after over four hundred years, he was more angry than ever at how the world that he had once knew was changed. He had a hard time adjusting to the ways of the now new generation of mixed generations. Tom wished that hed never awakened. He was beginning to realize why the witch kept him asleep for so long. With every passing day, he wished that he was still asleep.

About the Author

Cassandra was born in Lemoore, California, into a military family. She has three siblings, one brother and two sisters. She grew up in a small town called Alexandria, Louisiana. After graduating, she moved to Las Vegas, Nevada, to where she also married into the military environment and had three boys of her own. She began writing her first book, Love, Lust and Everything in Between, in 1995 published by Xlibris.com, but it wasn’t published until 2010. She wrote her second book, King Martin, in 2011 published by Americastarbooks.com that book was written in one day. She has now submitted her third book, The Revival of Uncle Tom, to AuthorHouse publishing. Cassandra has other books lined up just waiting for funding to also be published. The fourth book is a murder mystery, the fifth one is a children’s book, the sixth one is a children’s activity manuscript, and the seventh is an adult activity manuscript. There are other manuscripts that she has written, but they are not yet finished. The estimated time of those to be completed will be in the midcycle of the year 2015. There are several appearances that Cassandra has made during her writing career, such as several book festivals at the West Flamingo Library, book signings at the Book Boutique, the Nevada Day Parade, etc. She will also include many charity events and more book signings to her agenda this year.
