Overview

«The Return of Marie» is a contemporary romantic drama with elements of comedy. Mysterious coincidences and unexpected events combine with touching, funny and sometimes surreal characters to create an adventurous, sophisticated novel. Searching for love becomes a single goal to transform the lives and characters of its heroes. Deeply immersed in the quest for pure inspiration and dream fulfilment, they discover a new dimension to their lives to allow them to find their true-life partners.

Book 1:
An actress, flees from a shoot in the middle of filming and sows chaos at her producer. Marie leaves London for a place where she grew up: Paris. Her love life has been on hold since the tragic death of her fiancé a few years prior. In Paris, she visits the grave of her fiancé and her only remaining family, Aunt Natalie. The fact that very little is known about Marie seriously hampers producer Pierre Duris' attempts to get her back.

Book 2:
The Parisian artist Eric N is in a difficult situation, his life will never be the same again. After a meeting with the mystical mentor Harry the Venetian, Eric makes the decision to follow the call of his heart, thus opening a path of alchemical transformation. Faced with real feelings for Marie, the painter is disarmed. He can only hope for a miracle. Marie is in Herman's gentle care, but her heart is still free.
