My Book, The Restoration of Faith, is a story of adventure, heartache, romance, and keeping faith in unbearable times and situations.
My main character, Joel Mathews, is a young rancher torn between carrying on the family ranch with his mother after his father’s death and finding the love of his life. His twin brother is married to a wonderful woman with two beautiful children. He feels jealousy raging every time he sees them together. He wants what they have, but how? Their community is small and in his eyes there are no available women to marry, but God has other ideas.
After a devastating tornado sweeps through their community, his life takes another turn; a turn that will not only aggravate him, but challenge him as well.
In the midst of his turbulent emotions, trying to please his mother and the Lord, he finds himself doing the total opposite of what he had planned. Can this “plain Jane” really be the one the Lord has for him? Certainly not!
This story is filled with drama and emotion, but it can also make you laugh as you are swept into the lives of Joel and Faith at the Double M Ranch. Maybe opposites really do attract!
