The Reservoir: My Life Reflected in a Journey through the Word of God
The purpose of the book is to be a credible witness to someone else who has struggled or is experiencing brokenness and rejection stemming from childhood abuse and neglect; those whose who has experienced any adversity in life; to remind them that it is all for purpose. When God said He will never leave nor forsake us; His word is true. God is an omnipresent God. Our trials and brokenness are all for purpose. We were created for God's glory; we are a testament that He is our sustainer. He is our very present help in our times of trouble.
Jesus said, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." Paul said "Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me (2nd Corinthians 12:9). Through the brokenness of our lives we can become the vessels that God intended us to be. God gave us Wisdom which is His Word. Through His Word brokenness can be repaired. Maybe that Broken Dream was our dream that did not fit God's plan for our life. That Broken Relationship was never ordained by God and never destined to be, because it was never part of His plan for our life. Proverbs 3:5-6 says "Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct thy paths.
Remember we are Reservoirs... God conditions us for His purpose; He said...A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh. And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them. (Ezekiel 36:26-27) "But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us" (2nd Corinthians 4:7). We are reservoirs that hold the precious gift of the Holy Spirit, which is the treasure within us as kingdom citizen in the body of Christ; for we were are bought with a price..."We are His Reservoir." Thank you for going on this journey with me. I pray that my life journey will remind you that ...We are His vessel; created for His glory; and everything that occur in our lives, every circumstance, and obstacle is all for Purpose...Paul stated so clearly...And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to His purpose (Romans 8:28). We are ambassador created to spread the gospel to the lost...The Reservoir.
