Overview

The Red Suitcase is a romance novel set in the 1950's when a beautiful young woman from Australia enters a beauty pageant to escape her dreary home life. She meets and falls in love with a dashing South African cricket player, who takes her back to his home country where they marry and she is soon betrayed. Alone and in a strange country she struggles to find happiness for herself and infant son.

About the Author

Susan was born in New Jersey and raised in upstate New York, She moved to Florida after completing high school and studied at Valencia College. She had a career in real estate management while raising two sons. She is happily retired with five grandchildren and finally has the time to pursue her desire, of what she calls, storytelling.
