About the Author

Mary Dillin-Shurtleff of Design Wisdom-Feng Shui is a radio personality, author, national and international motivational speaker, Clinical Hypnotherapist, Feng Shui Interior Designer, Theta Healer, and a Six Sensory Practitioner. Mary has taken energy healing into the 21st century using behavior modification methods and Feng Shui in tandem to change the pattern of behavior within the home to facilitate change within body, thus bringing the home and body into alignment with each other.

Mary has been in the metaphysical field since 1989. She was certified in 1991 as a Clinical Hypnotherapist, as well as a Certified Feng Shui practitioner and Certified Six Sensory Practitioner. She developed and instructed a credit and non-credit class on the "Basics of Feng Shui" at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City, Utah. This class incorporated Feng Shui and behavior modification methods to facilitate stress management. Mary has been instrumental in bringing feng shui mainstream into the intellectual field in Utah.

Mary is a client and a blog writer for Annie Jennings PR-America's Leading Publicity Firm in New Jersey and has done various interviews with radio stations all over the United States since 2009. Mary does writing for various magazines and blogs through the Internet world, as well.

She believes diversity in educational studies is important to keep your mind sharp and your wisdom heightened. When these modalities are applied properly, Mary believes it is as close to magic as one can get.
