Overview

A young woman who married too soon, had two sons, and divorced her husband because of his uncontrollable infidelity. She went on to meet other men, of who were as different as the candies in a box of chocolate. As she got older, she grew tired of the meaningless relationships that never lead to her lifelong dream of being married, and living happily ever after. She then found her way to the one who would love her, despite her past, her shortcomings, and her mistakes. This man, the one out of all the ones before, that she would call, “The Real Chocolate Romeo.”

About the Author

Nicole is a very proud Native Washingtonian, educated in both public and private schools. She attended Bennett College for women in Greensboro, NC, but completed her secondary education at the University of the District of Columbia, earning a Bachelors of Arts degree in Journalism/Mass Media. It’s at UDC and while working as a reporter for the Historic Afro Newspaper, that she realized her love and gift for writing.

Nicole is also playwright who has produced several children’s and adult plays.
In addition to her work in the theater, she is an advocate for youth, creating curriculum and programs that help to prevent the spread of HIV/AIDS, as well as the prevention of unplanned pregnancies, drug use and crime.
