Overview

The malicient elf priestess is within sight...

Atop the Gelid Mountains' snowy peaks, the Champions of Light have caught up to their quarry. Before they can capture her and free the infant princess from her grasp, monstrous inhabitants of the mountain launch an assault on both parties. This fight allows the priestess to escape, and during the chaos, the Champions become separated.

In Castle Raven, the vile mage Lord Maleficus Ravensblood is given strict instructions that his wayward progeny that is carrying the Princess of Ivory Glen must not enter the borders of Raven Caw until the Champions are destroyed. This forces the mage to enter into a vacillating partnership with a neutral party who is as flamboyant as he is powerful, but grants the mage the time needed to prepare to summon an ancient evil from the Void itself.

The Champions of Light find help from an unexpected source, and this unusual ally assists in guiding them to the Hyaline forest below attempting to regain lost distance to their prey. Unknown to them, the priestess Hyra Moonwarper has gained allies of her own, and has made further progress toward safety.

As the sun sets, so begins to fade the hopes of rescuing the baby Princess Alimorelle from evil's soft fingers...
